Ultra-Drum Tray®
The Ultra-Drum Tray is designed for one of two things: spill containment for smaller containers (20 gallons or smaller) or a safety measure for 55-gallon drums. The 21.1-gallon capacity is not enough to meet the EPA or SPCC spill containment regulations for 55-gallon drums, but it is perfect for capturing those nuisance drips and spill that can occur in day-to-day operations. The optional grating keeps containers elevated above any spills. Product Highlights Keeps floors free of spills - designed to collect and contain drips and overflows associated with filling of 55 and 30-gallon drums. Optional bottom grate elevates drums 2 5/8" and out of spilled liquid. All-polyethylene construction will not rust or corrode. Optional dolly (Part #0417) available for easier transport/mobility. Additional Information The Ultra-Drum Tray is rotationally-molded low-density polyethylene. The Ultra-Drum Tray can be used for different things. Essentially, it is a containment device. It can be used for secondary containment for smaller containers (bottles, jugs, smaller drums, buckets, fuel cans, etc.), or as containment of nuisance leaks, drip and small spills from larger containers (Please note that the drum tray will not comply with EPA regulations for containers larger than 20-gallons.). A dolly is available (Part #0417). It is a universal dolly for several products, but is adjustable and can be sized specifically for the Ultra-Drum Tray. The Ultra-Drum Tray with grating is compliant with EPA 40 CFR 264.175 for containers that are 20-gallons or smaller. The grating in the Ultra-Drum Tray is used to elevate containers above any spilled material. As you can see from the photo in our gallery, a 55-gallon drum will fit on a drum tray. However, it is important to understand that the drum tray does not have enough containment to meet spill containment regulations and should only be used as a good housekeeping measure. Ultra-Filter Pad
Capture oil, gas and other hydrocarbons while allowing clean rainwater to flow through The Ultra-Filter Pad provides an absorbent liner that will quickly and effectively capture oil and other hydrocarbons while allowing any water to pass through. It’s a great solution when traditional spill containment isn’t available or if something more portable is needed. Product Highlights Use Ultra-Filter Pads on construction sites, oil fields and other areas where spill containment is needed but shelters or structures are not available. Polyethylene and PVC construction is lightweight but durable - folds for quick and easy storage or transport. Replaceable liners quickly capture oil, grease and fuel leaks and spills. Allow clean water to pass through while filtering out any hydrocarbons. Two-inch, foam sidewalls provide structure and help contain stormwater during periods of quick or large amounts of rainfall - ensures ample filtering time. Additional Information The Ultra-Filter Pad excels where ease of portability is a priority. Because it is lightweight and compact, it is perfect for use in the field and especially in more remote areas. The liners can absorb oils and hydrocarbons and prevent the environment from being contaminated. The Ultra-Absorbent Tarp is similar in use and application as the Ultra-Filter Pad and maybe a good alternative solution. The Ultra-Filter Pad is not a spill containment product. It is designed to only hold water for a short period of time in order to filter hydrocarbons. (NOTE: The liner filters oils and other hydrocarbons from water very quickly. Ultra-Filter Sock®
Stop harmful substances from entering the stormwater system The Ultra-Filter Sock® is the ultimate in above-drain protection. With the different filter media options available, the Ultra-Filter Sock® is the only product capable of removing many different types of pollutants. Placed in front of storm drains, the woven geotextile material allows water to flow through into the storm drain while the media inside of the unit removes pollutants. Product Highlights Use in front of storm drains, around downspouts, in gullies and ditches, or anywhere there is potential for harmful stormwater runoff. Woven polymer casing allows water to pass through quickly while filtration media inside removes pollutants. High UV rating allows extended life in sun and elements. Available in 9-foot lengths. Units can be overlapped for longer coverage. Looped ends allow units to be staked in place and also assist in transport. Available with different types of media depending on which pollutant is present. Additional Information If a “clean” installation is a significant concern or the Ultra-Filter Sock could pose a tripping threat to pedestrian traffic or an obstruction for street sweepers or other equipment, it may not be the ideal solution. Since the Ultra-Filter Socks® are only available in one length (9′), you can simply use multiple units when more than nine feet is required. It is recommended that you overlap units to insure complete coverage/protection. Due to the nature of the filter media, some fine dust and powder can be released from the sock during transport (this is especially true of socks with HMRM). We recommend rinsing the Ultra-Filter Socks with a hose on grass or a vegetated area prior to use. This will allow most of the fines to be removed and captured away from any catch basin. Ultra-HydroKleen® is a true EPA filter designed to reduce pollutants in stormwater and industrial runoff. Its triple layer filter removes hydrocarbons, heavy metals, sediments, and other organics, with a removal efficiency rate of over 80%. Advanced catch basin filter captures multiple pollutants Catch basin inserts (like the Ultra-Drain Guard) are very effective and work well in many applications. In known “hot spot” drains, however, something with more filtering capability may be necessary. Because these drains are more likely to encounter more concentrated contamination in stormwater, dedicated filter media can help in reducing pollutants. The Ultra-HydroKleen is considered a “true filter” by the EPA and forces water through up to three different filters before it exits into the stormwater system.
