The Ultra-Absorbent Tarp® is the perfect solution for preventing fluid leaks under machinery and equipment. Its 3-layer protection system and efficient 3 to 12 gallons per square foot absorption capability effectively stop hazardous spills and create safe, slip-resistant surfaces. Its folding design allows for easy transport and storage in minimal space. Available in sizes 5' x 5' and 10' x 10'.

Catch and trap oil drips before they can reach the ground

The multi-layered Ultra-Absorbent Tarp® is designed to be easily transported and placed under vehicles and equipment. The top layers absorb oils and other hydrocarbons while the bottom layer prevents excess oil from seeping through to the ground below.

Additional Information:
  • The absorbent tarps absorbs 3 to12 gallons per square foot, depending on the size. The two standard sizes: 5′ x 5′ and 10′ x 10′ absorb 3 gallons (11 L) and 12 gallons (45 L), respectively.
  • When new and unused, the 5′ x 5′ absorbent tarps weigh only 3 lbs. (1.5 kg) and the 10′ x 10′ absorbent tarps weight only 12 lbs. (5.5 kg) so they are very easily transported.

    • The top layer is a UV resistant geotextile fabric which allows oils to pass through.
    • The middle layer is an absorbent core. It is made of an oil-only polypropylene that  traps oils but allows stormwater to evaporate.
    • The bottom layer is an impermeable backing that keeps drips from leaching through to the ground or shop floor.
