Versatile spill containment that can be reused and easily modified The Ultra-Containment Berm Modular Model, also known as the Gorilla Berm, can change its dimensions. By using 6-foot long coated, foam blocks for its wall structure, the Gorilla Berm can very quickly and easily be resized to other shapes and sizes to meet other requirements. The foam blocks also allow the modular model containment berm to be driven in and out of without any manual operation of the walls. The heavy-duty foam compresses to allow trucks and other vehicles to drive into the unit and quickly returns to its normal state when the weight is removed. Product Highlights Modular construction allows containment areas of any size to be configured. Polymer-coated foam support blocks (6’ lengths) provide structure to sidewalls - can be driven over repeatedly without damage. Standard material is a 22oz., anti-skid, coated vinyl fabric. PVC material, allows for drainage via two stainless steel camlock fittings, while the walls are constructed using closed-cell foam for strength and durability in harsh railroad conditions. Portable containment unit captures railcar leaks and spills Leaky locomotives and tanker cars can wreak environmental havoc on a railroad site. For loading areas, maintenance locations and other sections where leaks and spills are frequent, a more permanent spill containment system like the Ultra-Track Pans is an excellent solution. But for a portable spill containment / spill response solution, the Ultra-Track Berm® may be just the right answer. The track berm is portable enough to be quickly and effectively moved by one person to a leak or spill and can capture up to 144 gallons. If a larger spill occurs or greater capacity is needed, drain hoses (not included) can be connected to the camlock fittings so the spilled material is directed to a waste collection area or larger container. Economical design sets up quickly and provides secure containment The Ultra-Containment Berm Collapsible Wall Model features an economical design that sets up quickly and provides secure containment. PVC sidewall assemblies provide sturdy support for the containment area but are quickly lowered easy access. Great for spill containment of large quantities of drums, vehicles, frac tanks or other large containers. Product Highlights The collapsible wall model containment berm features rugged PVC sidewall assemblies for sidewall support. Simply swivel the "feet" of the PVC supports to lower or raise the sidewalls in just seconds. Rugged materials provide years of service and excellent chemical compatibility. Add the Ultra-Self Bailer to keep rainwater out of the spill containment berm. Rainwater drains from the berm passively but will automatically shut off if there is a spill. The repair kit is simply an 11” x 36” piece of matching material and instructions on how to apply it to the berm.  The only other item required is an industrial heat gun. The ground tarp provides added protection from punctures or damage from beneath the Ultra-Containment Berm.  Standard procedure is to sweep the area of any rocks or debris, then place the ground tarp down followed by the containment berm. For smaller standard sized berms, the 11′ x 11′ ground tarp is recommended (Part #8311).  For larger berms, the general rule of thumb is to add 4′ to both the length and width dimensions of the berm.  (e.g. a 16′ x 64′ ground tarp would be used for a 12′ x 60′ containment berm.) Track belts are strips of very heavy-duty material (Reinforced PVC) that lay down inside the berm.  They take the wear and tear from tires of the vehicles that are driving in and out of the berms.  Thereby extending the life of the product.

Has a durable, vinyl covering resists oils, coolants, and most chemicals. Cut-to-length and secure to floor with included sealant, then seal seams with the vinyl adhesive. Additional Information The Ultra-Berm Builder is an open-cell foam that is wrapped in vinyl. The Ultra-Berm Builder’s sidewalls are designed to be able to be stepped on and/or rolled over with light, wheeled equipment. The open-cell foam barrier will spring back after the weight is removed. If the area that needs contained is larger than what is covered by the full kit, you can always add more straight sections (Part# 8641) and/or more corners (Part# 8642) or whatever is needed for your particular application. All of the components and accessories for the Ultra-Berm Builder are available separately. The Ultra-Berm Builder is meant to a “long-term” installation. Should it become necessary, it can be removed using a flat-bladed shovel. The Ultra-Berm Builder is designed for use on flat, smooth surfaces. The berm builder is designed to be easily cut if necessary. Simply use a utility knife and a straight edge (NOTE: Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)).
